- I believe a person has the right to decide to die if they have an incurable disease that causes them great amounts of pain and makes it impossible for them to live with dignity. I am not saying I feel anyone else has the right to make that decision for them.

- To Sherriff Kuntz statement "Citizens of Calaveras County can sleep a little better tonight.". I have to say that hearing a twelve year old child butchered his little sister with a knife does not help me sleep better at night. It might actually give me nightmares.

- A 21 year old went missing in my area a few years ago. Her mother called the police repeatedly, but they didn't seem to care at all, did nothing more than file reports and even did that reluctantly.

- Not everyone responds. A woman in my neighborhood was screaming for help and all the guys just stood around and said "Maybe we should call the cops." I (a woman) was the only person who went up to her house and confronted her husband who was beating the crap out of her.

- I guess we're not the melting pot anymore... or so says hot daddy. I think it's funny how people will zealously grab onto one facet of our founding father's beliefs (oh, say the 2nd amendment) but then totally dismiss others like they don't count. Our diversity is what makes this country great.
